Where's Robert???
I have always wondered why these are underrated and undervalued--- I know it is not an HK G3 (Santa Fe/1966), but geeeeeeeeeese!!!

I've never found the CETME rifles aesthetically pleasing. In fact, I kind of think they're downright ugly. Some of the more recent "builds" haven't done anything to change my mind. Not my cup of tea.
Of course, I though the same thing about the Valmets when I first saw them in the late 1980's (an AK with a pipe attached). I changed my mind about the Valmets once I bought one. Perhaps I should give the CETME at try. _________________ Dallas |

Dallas,
Should you decide to partake, get only a MARS import--- trust me, if you see one in person, you will desire one!!!

robert's here to save the day
Ugly can be pretty cool GoodGuy. The above SturmgewCETME is SturmgewCOOL. The daddy of the g3/33/mp5/Etc. will never fail or let you down. Sadly the crappy century guns have given these things a really bad name (for good reason). Like the FMP G3S and the Springfield SAR3, preban Cetme's are a great preban value....this particular auction is way over priced...but there are great deals to be found. _________________ www.RobertRTG.com for all your HK & MG Parts at amazingly low prices |
