Want to swap an old style buttstock for a new one?

Hi all - I have a new-style Galil SAR buttstock (synthetic covered tubes, wide rib between tubes) and I'd like to swap it for an "old skool" style one. My stock is in excellent like-new condition, and I'd like the same/similar in return. Reason I'm looking to swap is because I got a CAA cheek piece, but it only fits the old-style stocks.

I'll trade you.

I have a excellent/like new condition old school style stock that I will be glad to swap you. Locks up tight. When it folds it's tight. when it is open, it only has the very slightest movement. New plastic tube, professionally refinished. I thas not been welded, brazed, soldiered or otherwise screwed with.

I assume we are trading stocks including the knuckle. Pull the roll pin and there you go.

Let me know if you need more pictures or anything.

Thanks

RM308: I don't need a stock and mine doesn't have a knuckle. Got anything else to trade. Many of these were in circulation back in the Galil rush. Rumor is that some old man made these. My guess is the Wizard of Oz. John

Hi guys - thanks for the quick replies.

RM308 - when you say that it has a little bit of wiggle when open, how much are you talking about? And where does the wiggle originate - at the hinge (is that what you're calling the knuckle)? Mine locks up tight as drum, so I might be more tempted to just swap the tubing and butt-end (pop out the cotter pin and pull free).

bigsleeze - I already have a synthetic cheekpiece from CAA, so I don't need that.

Jaegerkommando. See PM, pictures sent. By the way. Very nice SAR.

John; No, not much in the way of trades.

Thanks

I think that the small cheek piece pictured above left is for an airsoft Galil. It measures 5/8" in the stock gap. John

Well, mine is an airsoft gun - but it was built (by TSI Armories) using a lot of 100% authentic real-steel parts, including:

buttstock
receiver top cover and rear sight
gas tube
gas block and front sight
flashider
mag release
selector lever
