New Galils over gased

Post by Tom Doniphon » Tue Oct 31, 2017 12:17 am

New Galils seem to be over gassed. I was talking with NIB and he had mentioned that all the new Galils seem to be over gassed. I was watching the Larry Vickers video on the new Galil 7.62x39 and he also mentions this in the Video. I then went on to Larry's video showing his Sako 92s. He specifically mentioned it is not over gassed.

Watch the slow motion video and you will see the movement of the Galil. Larry goes on to say that in its current state the new Galil is really only worthy of a red dot.

So we need to get a new 7.62x39 Galil gassed properly to Larry. Then get a new slo-mo video to see how it affects the gun. Then add a Sako or equivalent muzzle brake and make another video.

My guess is that it will be much more accurate after the mods.

By the way Larry is a really personable, nice guy. Go check out his YouTube videos they are awesome!

Good job Larry Vickers!
