My M76 308 & Mags III

Post by scirocco85 » Fri Feb 24, 2017 12:33 pm

First I forgot to say that after opening mag well far enough to fit Galil mags I have used the filed down mag as often as unmodified mags and even though it is now a bit loose side to side it still functions without problem. The Galil mags as seen in previous pics are much stronger and look so much better in the Valmet due to double wrapped & ribbed. This gun is amazing in that the recoil is so lite. But from past AR-10s & my M62 build I wanted to try AK74 break which works so well on full auto I fit one to my M76. Works great!! Maybe 5%-10% less again which helps on accuracy recovery. Next post I will talk about scope, top cover & mounting. Thanks for looking

I'm not sure about the looks of that.

The Valmet three prong suppressor/bayonet lug is one of the distinct features that sets a Valmet rifle apart from other AK rifles. In my opinion, replacing it with something else just seems like a step in the wrong direction. YMMV.

Yeah the 74 brake is very good. Are you in the USA?
