Valmet m78/83s ?s
Hello everyone I'm finally a member
I'd like to kick it off asking
Was the m78/83s made and imported in 7.62x39
I have a 78 in 7.62x39 but obviously not the same
I have loved that gun since I saw commando when I was 8
Excited to be a part of this Forum

For what its worth. I did some research. Stembridge gun rental is the company that rented the guns for commando and predator which featured a gun matching a m78/83s but in 7.62x39. I have only seen .308 models for sale. However the vintage movie poster that shows Arnold with the rifle over his shoulder has a ak mag and it's marked m78/83s. I found this link on line. (page 40)
It still is unclear if they were sold for the civilian market but I have hope!!!
