Valmet L-35

Post by brt1963 » Fri Dec 03, 2010 10:28 am

Hello all - I'd love a Valmet rifle, but don't have one. However, I do have an L-35, unfired, from the last run of 100 in 1985.

I look forward to shopping for a companion rifle...

Very Nice Pistol!
You definitely need a Valmet rifle, or two, or three, or four, to go with that pistol.

Very, Very Nice!!!

If you ever decide to sell it, or would like to trade for a Valmet rifle, please keep me in mind!

Thanks all. I don't think this one could be sold. It was a retirement gift to my father, who ended up his career working for the US branch of a heavy equipment company then based in Tampere, Finland. (the "T" in the VKT initials)

He was very good friends with folks over there, and even toured the Valmet factory.

When Valmet did the final run of 100 L-35s ever (the set with serial #s 5000 - 5100), in 1985, they got one for my dad. Then arranged to get it to him in the US. It went through customs, but has no import marks.

It has not been shot - I have two Husqvarnas that I can shoot as needed - here are all three...
