Look at this poor thing. It's one of the few times I would be in favor of a new gun law.

What a shame to ruin such a nice rifle. Totally tasteless in my opinion!

:( :( :( :(

Bet if this guy had an M-76 in .223 Cal., instead of an M-62, a Mag adapter would have been been right up his alley!!!

It's just insane that somebody permanently modified an original, unfired M62 tube. That rifle should be for sale at a MUCH lower price now.

There is no end to the bullshit tacticool crap people will do to their weapons. At least it's not so bad when it's done to some M4gery\ but to a true collectors piece......damn. Wondering if the "builder" kept the original parts or trashed them taking them off.

Of course, the original parts that came off it were total junk or he wouldn't have replaced them with that quality workmanship.

That one is at least repairable. Just needs a handguard and stock, both of which I happen to have. But I really do not need a third M-78, and not one at that price considering it's condition.

Wondering if since it is in CA, if it may have been a movie gun, rather then just another abortion?

Gary, received your e-mail--- thanks!!! :D

Eric, you should e-mail the seller and offer original parts--- may allow his auction to be worth more.

Imagine...if he took a hammer,..and smashed the bicycle grip, and cheese-grater handguard...into tiny, mangled pieces...muahahaha!

The Galil stock doesn't look bad, its the picatinny-encrusted handguard, and that abomination of a pistol-grip that kill my libido on this one.
