Did any of the AA "329" models (pre '89 ban or post-ban) ever have a bayonet lug and provision for a bipod? If I remember correctly, the pre-ban models had a Galil flash suppressor and, maybe, night sights but no bayonet lug or bipod. Again, if I remember correctly, both Action Arms and Springfield ...

Cool... Everyone should have at least a dozen AK type rifles to play with. Have you had a chance to shoot your creations yet? How do they function?

Usually if one asks about condition of a bore, I simply respond using more qualitative adjectives such as "clean," "shiny," "sharp lands / grooves," "no rust," "not pitted," "smooth," etc. I find these terms are quite descriptive and usually satisfy most inquiries. More quantitative measurements suc...

Hi Sofistikated... welcome to the website! Nice rifle. It's a desirable model that doesn't show up on the market very frequently. The values of Valmet rifles tend to fluctuate, but not necessarily in direct relationship with the economy. It seems to me that every few years a new (not necessarily you...

Yes the Galil is a farm tractor where the Valmet .223 folder is a Ferrari. They are really well made and fun. Then again I was out shooting my 78 RPK 7.62x39 full auto and ...well...Wow! I need to go out and do that again. Remind me why I didn't shoot it for several years? Tom... do you use lacquer...

I love the milled receiver but can't stand the big ugly knuckle on the right side folder. I could kick my self. I just missed a milled 7.62X39 folder last month, one and only I've seen on a outdoors trader for $3000.00............ I figure that's a $7500 gun. You're right.... it's a butt ugly confi...

For reference... Here is an old photo of a milled M76 folder chambered for the 7.62x39 cartridge.

Again... keep an eye out for a MILLED M76 folder in 7.62x39. I think you'll be hard pressed to find one for sale. I've seen and handled (and own) several STAMPED M76 rifles chambered for the 7.62x39 cartridge, but I've never held a MILLED example. Also, in my opinion (Tony might disagree), a moderat...

Hi Armed2012.... Welcome to the website. The precise number of imported commercial Valmet rifles is difficult to pin down. Several have attempted to estimate those numbers based on known serial number ranges but, that too, hasn't really nailed down import numbers. I've read, for example, that there ...

GunnArt... I received your message and sent one back to you. Sometimes the Private Messaging isn't all that reliable, so feel free to communicate with me via my email. Ruddiger... In case you didn't receive my PM, you should receive your port buffer on Monday or Tuesday. Thanks Guys. P.S. GunnArt......
