Might be getting a AR-70

Read through some of the Ar-70 threads here....good info..... For some reason, the AR-70 has never excited me, although i cant recall handling one in person..... Anyway , i may have one fall into my lap via trade....... I know there were only 20 or so folders imported... Maybe a silly question, but ...

I have/did. Unfortunately there is no rhyme nor reason for the random AK-47 vice RPK-47 markings. I think I have 9 or so pre89 guns and have owned probably that many M-90s at one point. I have had guns marked as an AK-47 then so many serial numbers later an RPK-47 then so many serial numbers later ...

Joe,

It should work fine. But it will have a little wobble. As you know the M-78 Mags have a little extra steel on the sides, so with them, no wobble.

Eric

Thanks Eric....

Re: pistol grip screw

I would not use a screw driver at all. not sure of the size but you can use a 10 mm socket with 6" extention. just have to be careful and firm. If you have to use screw driver you will have to grind down the tip of a larger strait tip for good fit and tork. I made one years ago and keep it in my gu...
