Sadly, no. Still all boxed up. Have all the parts, but my builder is really backed up.

I hope it is soon though!

Also, I know there is someone in Finland that had some tube folder buttplates a couple months back. I also happen to know that a standard AR buttstock buffer tube fits the Valmet buttplae unit and is REALLLLLLLY close in spec to the Galil rear receiver hole. FWIW, I had a nice collection of Valmet ...

Very nice. Before you chop that non receiver, try Apex, they have de-milled Galil receivers for $20. https://www.apexgunparts.com/product_info.php/cPath/75/products_id/1544 Here's some pics of my Norinco conversionm done as a Galil. http://i687.photobucket.com/albums/vv235/762AP2/000_6775.jpg I had...

Nice collection of parts. Why not try for a tube folder instead with that galil rear stub? What's a "non-receiver"? I'd really love to have a tube folder, but where would I find those parts? It was quite some time just finding what I have now. The receiver is an ORF Galil receiver that was supposed...

Getting closer........to a "M-62"

Getting closer to sending everything I have collected off to be reassembled into a clone of a M62 in 7.62X39. I know it's been done before and probably done better, but it's probably as close as I can achieve. Here's what I have so far: http://i725.photobucket.com/albums/ww257/RM308/101_1955.jpg I h...

Eric; I know him pretty well as I had him do a build for me a couple years back. Pretty much all the negatives you hear about him are true, and they all seem to relate to him being a perfectionist (like you). I didn't know he was doing AR70s? I've always wanted an AR70 myself, and if he will build i...

OK, next question, along the same lines: 1) Is the barrel thread pitch and size the same for both the stamped and milled receiver Valmets? and... is that the same pitch and thread size of the Galil? I do not know what size my Galil receiver-end thread is,...but I could pull it out if need be to che...
