This is the newer version: http://koti.mbnet.fi/mikusite/sysari.jpg Pic taken last weekend, fingers on the picture belongs to Yours truly :D The set screw is located beneath the muzzle unlike the older version. It ...

I just got back home from an exercise. We had a squad competition and it consisted, among other things, the disassembly and assembly of the Valmet KvKK, a light machinegun in cal. 7.62x39. http://koti.mbnet.fi/mikusite/miku_kvkk_700x525.jpg First it was taken to pieces and then put back together, it...

The Walther P22 is sold here in finland with a "barrel weight" and longer 5" barrel since the original version is considered as a "pocket pistol" and therefore is not allowed to the general public. It is VERY small. Only 4,5" in overall height so it doesn´t leave much room for the shooters hands. It...

This was something that many conscript failed to do here in Finland. I can´t remember the right way to do it anymore without seeing the sling so I can´t help on this one but I just had to post a comment  !!

Lapua is the way to go here in Finland. It is more expensive than others but as a competition round it is very accurate and reliable.

I searched from a well known book named Arma Fennica and found nothing about the m78/83. Only the m78.

You could be right.

I tried to find some information about the m78/83 but turned out with practically nothing. I found out that there is a "basic" model m78 that is marked as "LMG" with scopes and such. It looks exactly the same as Tony´s gun. It is .308 with wooden stock and hand guard. What caught my attention was th...

I´ve never seen them with oval buckles either. They´ve always been square.

It is hilarious! I am certain it is a joke. The guy started to invent things up to get more and more readers to participate/get annoyed. The posts on Glocktalk.com must have started on some brainfart and got carried away by Gecko45´s own amusements. Or at least I hope this was the case. If not, well...
