They are hard to come by here in Finland so finding one from the US can´t be easy. If you are only planning on shooting it on small bore competitions and rehersals, order a mounting adapter from a metalsmith so that you can get a standard micrometer diopter sight mounted. If you are completing the g...

Tom, I can´t say for sure because I´ve no experience with most of those models. I quess that all of those rifles mentioned earlier are plain AK´s because there were no info that states otherwise. I found these on our Defence Forces website www.mil.fi: 7.62 RK 72, made in Germany. Very AK47 looking w...

Manufacturer ? Try this list --- may be something similar : :D http://www.gunsworld.com/exploded_us.htm Tony As a side note and not to hijack this thread, The Russian Tokarev TT-30 caught my eye. the exploded diagram is from TT-33, not from a TT-30 which is much more rare than the newer mod...

Finnish Defence forces have seven different variants/manufacturing dates in their arsenal of assault rifles. 762 RK 62 (M62) is the most sofisticated, 762 RK 62 TP has a folding stock (TP=TaittoPerä, folding stock) that folds to the right side of the weapon, 762 RK 62 76 (M76) has stamped receiver, ...

It´s a fine knive allright and made of good steel. It can open a catridge box made of thick sheet metal without scratches. It can also be muonted to a finnish combat west´s shoulder harness. They say that the newer model M07 is better than the 95. I have no experience with it though so I can´t say i...

Yes, it´s a "Puukko" style knife. It´s very common for a Finnish conscript to get a Puukko styled knive with engravings when graduating from a military school or class. Reserve officer school or NCO school, for example. I have that Ranger Puukko M95 also. Known as J-P Peltonen´s Sissipuukko (Ranger ...

Tony: Sorry, I have none. They are hard to come by in here. I guess that they are not been sold here at all... Only way, IMO, is to find one from a drill/rehersal area. I´ll keep my eyes open :D . Mike: You´re right. It would be easier, since the barrel is to be blocked anyway. I have no idea how ou...

I found some info regarding the catridge box labeling. The label says JVA 0325. It means that the catridge is specified as J alka v äen a -tarvike (infantry ammunition) #0325. The name of the catridge is 7.62 RK pl pap. 7.62 is the caliber of course. RK means "rynnäkkökivääri", assault rifle and the...

Yes, it´s for wooden bullets, our blank ammunition. Here is a picture, the only one I could find: http://susi1.net/e107_files/public/1188382971_2860_FT0_patruunat.jpg The 5th from the left. The bullet is made of soft wood. It shatters totally and it doesn´t fly far even if the blank firing attachmen...
