I´d say that this is a Jubilee- bayonet just by the looks of it. The text Valmet, Tourulan tehdas (Valmet, Tourula factory) along with the shiny outlook indicates this IMO. I have never come across with one of these before but I could try to find more info.

It´s called Valmet Orava. The manufacturing of M49 Orava (orava=squirrel) started in 1950 at the Tourula factory in Jyväskylä. Approx. 24 000 were made and they were imported to 33 countries. Manufacturing started in 1950 from a serial number 10 000. The last serial number for a year 1955 was 25 084...

I tested it.
The bolt comes uot of the frame by pulling the trigger and removing the bolt by pulling it. Done it 10 times. If you cannot remove the bolt, check the trigger. There might be something wrong with it.

The large screw thighten the rear sight into position. Open the screw al little and pull the rear sight out of the railings. Pull it straight back towards the stock.

The text on the larger picture says it was designed in the HQ´s Infantry weapons Technical Department and done as a conversion from a standard (m62, my own sidenote) assault rifle in a weapon armory. This weapon is not manufactured By Valmet as it is shown on the picture, it´s a conversion made insi...

Thanks for the link ruddigger. I haven´t noticed that page before. It´s strange since, as Sako92s posted, our military adopted the glock (9.00 PIST 2008) only awhile ago. Why wasn´t it posted on the website? Why would they wan´t another pistol for the special rangers and military police since they a...
