WTB Galil AR or ARM length gas tube

I'm looking for a 8.8" Galil gas tube (not the shorty SAR version). Would also pay extra for a Valmet gas tube. Please let me know what you have and how much. Thanks!

The Valmet gas blocks are definitely pressed on. And they definitely suck to pull off. Try soaking in Evapo Rust Dissolve first, which will also remove the parkerizing. Then you'll want to use heat and brute force. Good luck!

FYI: New Galil/"Valmet" milled receivers

CNC Warrior is manufacturing a limited quantity of new, milled galil receivers. Around fifty receivers in .223 and .308 will be produced. For no additional cost, the receiver can be ordered with blank sides (no galil scope mount). This is perfect for those wanting to build a Valmet clone since the ...

Tony,

I think your PM has disappeared from my Inbox? I received an email notification... but no message. Please resend. Thanks!

BTW... in regards to my question, here's an example of a green/grey Sako pistol grip:

FWIW, I sometimes have the same problem, and Tony's PM's seem more susceptible.

Tony, I was not on the list for a new top cover.

But hopefully, I am on the list for stashed Rk95 parts! :D

I should have also mentioned that this Yugo M70 bolt carrier will also work. It is stainless steel, but the charging handle is closer to a Valmet's than the upturned Galil one.

Price is a wee bit high, but there's a Valmet M76 top cover on Gunbroker right now.

AFAIK, if you want to get that stripped receiver running, you can swap in... 1) Galil gas tube 2) Galil gas piston 3) Galil bolt carrier 4) Galil bolt (check headspace, may require modification) 5) Galil recoil rod & spring 6) Galil hammer 7) Galil trigger 8) Galil sear 9) Galil hammer/trigger sprin...
