WTS: Pre-ban Portuguese AR10

WTS: Pre-ban Porto AR10 built on CKA receiver. Gun is in overall VG condition, good bore (many of these AR10s do not). Stocks have been painted green I believe by the Portuguese. Comes w/4 original Armalite 20-round mags. $3750 or trade for Valmet M-62 in unfired condition. Let me know if interested.

There have been a # of 78s in .308 floating around on GB for the past year or so. All seem to be in the $2k+ range which IMO seems high unless they come w/a bunch of mags.

IMHO regarding the market some things are going up as others are going down. The items that are stable or going up in price seem to be the 99.9%-NIB items (mainly Valmet 62s, Belgian FALs). Unfired condition 62s, mainly tube-stocked guns w/no cracks are going in the $3.5-4k range. The guns that are ...

A NIB one last summer brought $6k. If you can "undo" the stock and the gun is minty I'd put $5-5.5k on it. Just my .02

WTK: VZ-58 experiences?

I've been thinking about purchasing one of the Czech VZ-58 rifles and was wondering if any of you guys have had any experiences with them? Fit/function, reliability, etc.? I figure now is the time as I'm sure in coming years they will go up in price (i.e.- like the Yugo AKs). Any info is appreciated!

$12.5k seems pretty high to me (yes, even for a FAMAS). Know of one that sold earlier this year for $8k LNIB. The rare pre-ban stuff doesn't seem to be commanding the prices that it did 4-5 years ago. That being said...it all depends on how bad somebody wants it.

My "1sts" My first rifle was a single-shot Winchester Model 67A youth rifle that my dad gave me for my 6th b-day. Accurate little gun, it was my dads growing up as well. My first shotgun was a single-shot Savage 16 Ga that was given to me on my 8th b-day. Did lots of hunting with that one! And my fi...
