I've heard that less than 10 of the stamped 76's with fixed tube stock were imported.

I have no idea if it is true, but I'm mighty proud of my Fleming converted NFA 76.

The recoil from my HK G3k is much more manageable than the recoil from my Remington 700 in 308.

The gun sold today for $1200.00.

It was a semi but somebody still got one hell of a deal.

That's all the info I have.

I'm not interested in a 78 and I do love my HK G3k.

I guess I'm just a glutton for punishment.

I suppose my Holy Grail description was a little strong.

I might have located what I consider the Holy Grail of Valme

I just received a lead of a transferable Valmet 76 in 308.

I'm still waiting on information regarding the status of the weapon.

I'll keep you guys posted as I get more info. Hopefully this won't turn into a wild goose chase.

I'm afraid I couldn't afford one even if I located it.

I only recently got interested in shoulder fired 308's after I purchased a HK sear and a HK-91. A shoulder fired 308 was a must after I fired my friends select fire FAL 308.

Tom, the 78 in 308 seems quite common but I guess the 76 in 308 might be consider the Holy Grail of transferable Valmets.

I'd love to have one to go with my 76 in 7.62x39 that fleming converted.

Re: WTB: Valmet 71/S Stock

Want any kind of stock that will fit a Valmet 71/S. I purchased one on Gunbroker and it arrived broken(by UPS). Seller will not step up and make it right. Email me with what you have: juliesteve@hughes.net Why are you assuming the seller is responsible for the damaged stock??? I would think the shi...

Wana see something great, look at this link from the older postings here on the board http://www.valmet.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=63 I love the responses in that link. I was almost flogged to death on Brian's Valmet board when I was considering changing the fixed tube stock on my select fire Valmet...

As per sources on the other thread: Sportsman's Guide only has Wolf unless you talk about expensive stuff like Corbon. S&B is steel case as per their website. PMC is out of business. So its basically a moot point, there is no brass 7.62x39 to speak of other than full price. I have some Cheetah from...

I expect I'd take 20K for my 76 in 7.62x39 if it were for sale.

I've had a couple of very tempting offers near 20K in the past and I never countered so I suppose somebody might be willing to pay that much.

I'm not sure if it would bring it, but I think it probably would.
