The plastic stock is OK as long as it's not cracked (or not cracked too badly). For a collector an uncracked plastic is great. But if it's a rifle you intend to shoot buy a cracked stock and replace it with a galil folder or wood. Valmet did not R&D some of these civilian only options. Plastic 71 a...

I've been priced out of the last Valmet on my list. Someday I'll find that childless, terminally ill 99 year old billionaires that I have always dreamed of marrying. Then I will buy every Valmet on Earth and rule the universe with an iron fist!

If you are going to bench rest the rifle buy the ARM. If you shoot like a man standing on your feet buy the AR. Why have the extra weight of the bipod? Sure the bipod can be used as a bottle opener but so can the mag or the rifle itself. Leave the extra pound at home and you can carry another pound ...

Mongo like candy.

KB actually. Fired out of battery and sent lots of small pieces of brass into Brass Catchers hand (hint the name). In this case a cartridge was torn in half leaving the neck in the chamber. The next round was loaded however the bolt could not close....yet fired anyway.

A milled Valmet should be on the back of the shirt along with Come Get Some printed underneath. Giant Red crusader cross printed on the front!!!!

If you want something on your shirt it's because you want attention....That aught to do it.

AGG you would cry yourself silly. I just missed a bipod/metalHG MARS CETME LNIB with a bunch of extras by 30 minutes. Was posted on an obscure board and I thought for sure she was mine. Not the case. I have never seen an original Box. Have you?

Re: What ammo should I buy?

BUY 5.45x39 It is cheap at less than 10 cents a round from Rguns at $210 for 2160 rounds. WOW for just half the price of 7.62x39 you can buy 5.45 with 50% the bullet weight and 50% the energy. What a deal! Reminds me of when BETA came out with the BETA L mag for half the price of the BETA C.

Al-Qaeda the good guys?

Al-Qaeda the men in white hats...supported by the men in blue hats... This is what they would do to our soldiers.....New US policy should be NO prisoners.... Why won’t the media show this? They show pictures of our soldiers putting underwear on terrorists heads and call it 'torture'. But Al-Qaeda to...

The Chicom AK's used a 1.5mm receiver for the wrong reason. Most Comm Block RPK used 1.5mm receivers to stiffen and strengthen the receiver. The Chinese used a 1.5mm receiver because they had lower quality steel and they could not make them work in 1mm. Older Chinese steel was not as strong as Easte...
