Re: Galil ACE

Any idea on timeline. Per IWI 7.62x39 will be first. I wonder if the 7.62x51 will use the old Galil magazines. If so, Do you think we need to dump any Old 323 mags? When I went to the SHOT show back in January; according to their timeline, some of these models should of been here already. The USA ....

Receiver to Barrel assembly

Hi, Just curious on how the barrel of a Valmet is attached to the receiver. I know on a 5.56 Galil; the barrel has a 21MM X 1.5 thread and it is screwed in to a certain torque. It5 seems that there is 2 visible pins on the trunion for a Valmet (one on each side); didn't know if they were a slip fit,...

Yes they are good quality. I worked with Denny at CNC Warrior to get the first few batches made of galil receivers; plus talked him into making Micros on the last batch. I received the first one (micro) made and have Jeff at Hillbilly making a SBR one for me. If you look at the aother post I have of...

This rifle came in with a batch of 15 rifles in mid 1986. 10 went to the marines in Quantico / 3 went to the Secret service training in southern Lousia...

1-87 would be IMI; not IWI. The later IWI 25 round mags have been for sale by Blackthrone for 99.00 for some time.

I have bought pre-bans in the box for 110.00 to 135.00; don't pay 175.00. You just have to pound the pavement.

Let him hold; too much for a AR model.

Tell me what model(s) you are looking for and I'll find you one. I just a hobbyist that finds good Galil deals and I don't charge.

Yes; way off on the pricing. There was only 12 to 18 originals that were sold before the ban. Just before the ban; the price was 3,900.00; compared to 780.00 / 830.00 for AR-ARM models at the same time (1989) The few owners I have found that own the originals and the avalibility puts the value aroun...
